Question by C R: When I Scan there is a bright line in the middle?
I have an multifunction HP (I’m not sure which model) and everytime I scan something there is a bright line in the middle… Can it be fixed?
It’s not new and it started a couple of weeks ago

It might be that the paper is bent in the middle but it might be the light of the scanner getting really light in the middle

printers name is MFC-685CW IT IS brother, it is almost brand new.
it prints but it dosnt connect to the computer, but other are connected.

The type or model of the printer would help.
My first guess is that it’s an ink jet and has dried ink in the nozzles. In that case, you probably need to replace the print head.

Question by L F: How do I print different documents from my Brother laser printer?
I have a Brother 5250DN laser printer. I just installed a second tray. I am trying to print a letter size document and a legal size document at the same time. The top tray is for 8.5×11 paper and the buttom tray is for 8.5×14 paper. I am using a imac with 10.6.4. Any help would appreciated.

Basically, you’ll need to set the page sizes to the appropriate paper sizes in the application. Make sure the printer driver is configured to automatic tray selection. I don’t know anything about Mac’s, but in Windows, when you add a paper tray accessory to a printer, you also need to go into the printer’s properties and into the device settings and enable the optional tray that you added so the computer and applications know it’s there and available for it to work. I’m sure there’s something like that in Mac’s as well.

Question by speedybro: Is the HP a1610n desktop compatible with the Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard?

you need a m atx motherboard, and the asus is an ATX.
